Dodge Rumble Bee Is Back as a Ram: $62,790 and Already Sold Out

October 31, 2026

The first Rumble Bee trucks are reaching buyers this fall, and if you didn’t order one in August, you’re probably waiting until spring. Ram says its first 2026 production allotment sold out in 90 minutes. If you grew up calling it the Dodge Rumble Bee, the name now wears a Ram badge, and our advice is simple: unless you already hold an order slot for the 5.7-liter truck, skip it and wait for the 392.

Quick answer: The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee starts at $59,995 plus $2,795 destination, or $62,790, with a 395-hp 5.7-liter HEMI V8. The 470-hp Rumble Bee 392 costs $72,790, the 392 Track Pack $82,790 and the 777-hp Rumble Bee SRT $97,790. Only the 5.7 is on sale now.

How much does each Rumble Bee cost?

Ram announced US pricing on July 29, 2026 in its Stellantis media release. CarBuzz printed $62,795 for the base truck on October 1; Ram’s figures add up to $62,790.

The 392 costs $10,000 more than the 5.7 but adds 75 horsepower, so it’s cheaper per horsepower than the base truck.

What do you get in the 5.7-liter Dodge Rumble Bee?

The base truck uses the same 395-hp, 410 lb-ft 5.7-liter HEMI as other Ram 1500s, minus the eTorque mild-hybrid system and stop-start, MoparInsiders reported on October 14. Ram quotes 0–60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

The frame is what changes. Every Rumble Bee uses a Quad Cab, short-bed body on a frame Ram says has a 13-inch shorter wheelbase and 10% less flex. CarBuzz adds stiffer suspension tuning and a single-speed transfer case.

That last part matters if you launch a boat on a steep ramp. A single-speed case means no low range. Ram rates the lineup at up to 8,890 pounds of towing and 1,160 pounds of payload.

Which options push the price up?

Ram’s configurator went live in October. The 22-inch painted wheels cost $1,995, the two Mopar graphics packages add $1,720, and three of the six colors add $445. Rumble Bee Yellow is free.

Here’s the trap: trailer brake control is a separate $295 option, so tick it at order time if you tow a trailer with electric brakes. Active Driving Assist sits in the $3,015 Advanced Safety Group II, and the 5.7 comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen.

How does the Rumble Bee compare with Ford’s F-150 Lobo and Raptor R?

Two Fords are the closest rivals. Both are F-150s, and only one is built for pavement.

Ram 1500 Rumble Bee 5.7395 hp$62,790$159
Ford F-150 Lobo400 hp$60,555$151

Ford F-150 Raptor R720 hp$113,725$158

The Lobo is $2,235 cheaper with 5 more horsepower, but it’s a lowered SuperCrew F-150 with cloth seats and a metal key, Motor1 noted. The Ram gets its own frame. The Rumble Bee SRT undercuts the off-road Raptor R by $15,935.

When can you actually get one?

Orders opened August 13. On October 1, Ram said the 2026 allotment sold out in 90 minutes and the next batch went within 24 hours, CarBuzz reported. MoparInsiders wrote on October 14 that the next ordering window is expected in March 2027. The 392, 392 Track Pack and SRT go on sale in the first half of 2027.

So timing works against the 5.7. A new order today lands in the same spring window as the 392, whose Apache 6.4-liter V8 isn’t offered in any other Ram 1500. Ram hadn’t published EPA fuel economy for the Rumble Bee in the material we reviewed, and dealer markups aren’t known yet.

The off-road TRX costs $102,790, per Ram’s June 22 release. Cross-shopping a GM V8? Check the GM 6.2L V8 recall first. Diesel buyers can read our 6.7 Cummins guide, and Jeep shoppers our 2027 Jeep Gladiator price story. Build a truck on Ram’s Rumble Bee page.

Rumble Bee questions buyers are asking

How much is the 2027 Ram Rumble Bee?

The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee starts at $59,995 before a $2,795 destination charge, or $62,790. The Rumble Bee 392 is $72,790, the 392 Track Pack is $82,790 and the 777-hp Rumble Bee SRT is $97,790, all including destination, according to Ram’s July 29, 2026 pricing.

Is the Rumble Bee a Dodge or a Ram?

It’s a Ram. Ram trucks used to wear Dodge badges, which is why many people still search for a Dodge Rumble Bee, but the 2027 model is sold as the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee. It uses a unique Quad Cab, short-bed body and a frame with a 13-inch shorter wheelbase.

How much horsepower does the Rumble Bee have?

The base Rumble Bee uses a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 395 hp and 410 lb-ft. The Rumble Bee 392 has a 470-hp 6.4-liter V8, and the Rumble Bee SRT uses a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 777 hp. Ram quotes 0–60 mph in 3.4 seconds for the SRT.

If you’re shopping a Dodge Rumble Bee today, the number to remember is $10,000: that’s what separates the 5.7 from the 392, and with new orders pushed to March 2027, waiting for the 75 extra horsepower costs you little or no time.
