Cadillac wants about $239,000 for the Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series, and none of that money buys extra horsepower. Revealed on October 22, 2026, ahead of the US Grand Prix in Austin, this 252-unit special is the most expensive factory Escalade ever, according to Edmunds. Our take: it’s a collectible first and an SUV second, and most buyers who want the V8 should order a regular Escalade-V instead.
Quick answer: The 2027 Cadillac Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series starts at about $239,000 including destination. Cadillac is building 252, split evenly between two paint colors, and selling them only in the US and Canada. It uses the standard 682-hp supercharged V8. The premium pays for carbon trim, forged 24-inch wheels, blue accents and a numbered, buyer-selected VIN.
What does the Escalade-V 125th Anniversary add?
Everything new is visual or ceremonial. Outside, Cadillac’s October 22 press release lists unique forged 24-inch wheels, carbon fiber on the grille surround, lower rear fascia, mirror caps and engine cover, plus blue brake calipers and dark-finish badges. Heritage V-8 puddle lamps project onto the ground when you open the doors.
Inside, you get a Black and Sheer Gray two-tone cabin with Santorini Blue stitching. Cadillac adds illuminated sill plates, special badging, Santorini Blue seat belts, premium floor mats and a blue key fob. The blue isn’t random. Cadillac says it comes from the V-Series emblem and first appeared on the Project GTP concept.

How rare is it, and who can buy one?
Very rare. Cadillac’s own Escalade-V page confirms 126 units in exclusive Midnight Stone Frost and 126 in Vibrant White Tricoat. Each one carries a serial number between 1902 and 2027, one for every year of the brand’s history, and you get to pick your VIN and number.
That numbering is the real product. If you were born in 1964, or your father bought his first Cadillac in 1959, you can claim that year before someone else does. Ordering opened on reveal day, so the early numbers will go first. It’s the first Escalade to join Cadillac’s Collector Series, which last produced the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing F1 edition.
Is the $239,000 price worth it over a standard Escalade-V?
Here’s where buyers trip up. Cadillac lists the regular 2027 Escalade-V from $169,300, but that figure excludes destination. The $239,000 anniversary price includes it. Compare the two the way Cadillac quotes them and you’ll think the gap is $69,700. It isn’t.
Once destination is counted, the real premium sits in the mid-$60,000s. Edmunds put it at $65,480 over a standard Escalade-V with premium paint on October 22, while Motor1 calculated $66,805 the same day. The difference comes down to paint and fee assumptions, so treat $65,000 as your floor.
Now the price-per-feature view. Both trucks use the same hand-built 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 682 hp and 653 lb-ft, and Cadillac estimates 0–60 mph in 4.4 seconds for the Escalade-V. Motor1 lists 683 hp; we’re using Cadillac’s figure. That works out to roughly $350 per horsepower for the anniversary truck against about $248 for the standard V before fees. You’re spending $65,000 on wheels, carbon, stitching and a number.
For scale, that premium alone is more than half the price of a base 2027 Escalade, which Cadillac lists from $102,700. It’s also about half the cost of a 2026 Escalade IQ, which starts at $127,405.
What you still get from the Escalade-V underneath
The base truck is strong on its own. Edmunds lists seating for seven and 7,200 pounds of towing for the Escalade-V. Cadillac’s spec page adds Brembo front brakes with 16.1-inch rotors, standard Super Cruise with a three-year OnStar One plan, and the 55-inch Horizon Display across the dash.
If you tow, nothing changes here. The anniversary edition doesn’t alter the drivetrain, so a boat or camper you’d pull with a regular V will behave the same behind this one. Just remember that 24-inch forged wheels carry low-profile tires, and replacing a curb-damaged unique wheel won’t be cheap or quick.
If you need the long-wheelbase body, check before you sign. Cadillac lists the standard 2027 Escalade ESV-V from $172,300, which is $3,000 above the regular V. Edmunds expects a similar upcharge on the anniversary ESV, but Cadillac’s release doesn’t quote an ESV price.
What we don’t know yet
Cadillac calls the price “approximately” $239,000 and says the dealer sets the final number. With only 252 trucks, expect some stores to add a market adjustment, so get the out-the-door figure in writing before you put down a deposit.
Resale is the other unknown. No one can promise a limited Escalade will hold collector value, and this one has no sales history yet. That’s our analysis, not a forecast. Global Cadillac vice president Kristian Aquilina called it a celebration of Cadillac’s “uncompromising approach to performance luxury.” Whether that turns into appreciation won’t be clear for years.

Cadillac says the 2027 Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series starts at approximately $239,000, including the destination charge but excluding tax, title and dealer fees. How many Escalade-V 125th Anniversary models will Cadillac build?
Cadillac is building 252 units for the US and Canada: 126 in Midnight Stone Frost and 126 in Vibrant White Tricoat. Each carries a serial number from 1902 to 2027, one for every year of Cadillac’s history, and buyers can select their VIN and serial number when they order.
Does the Escalade-V 125th Anniversary have more horsepower?
No. It uses the same hand-built 6.2-liter supercharged V8 as the regular 2027 Escalade-V, rated by Cadillac at 682 hp and 653 lb-ft. Cadillac estimates 0–60 mph in 4.4 seconds for the Escalade-V. The extra money pays for forged wheels, carbon fiber trim, blue accents and the numbered VIN.
The bottom line on the Escalade-V 125th Anniversary is simple math. You pay roughly $65,000 more than a regular Escalade-V for the same 682 hp, and what you’re really buying is one of 252 serial numbers, with your chosen year stamped on it.
