A two-door 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack with 550 hp leases for an effective $733 a month. The electric Daytona Scat Pack parked next to it costs $1,486. If you’re shopping a Dodge Charger lease this month, the gas Sixpack car is the only one worth signing, and the reason sits in two numbers from Dodge’s own lease bulletin.

Quick answer: The cheapest Dodge Charger lease in November 2026 is the Sixpack R/T two-door at $579 a month for 42 months with $4,229 due, about $680 effective, per CarsDirect. The Daytona EV runs about $1,486 effective because Dodge projects a 40% residual and a lease rate near 12.5%.

What does a Dodge Charger lease cost right now?

Here are the three offers that matter, from CarsDirect’s October 28, 2026 lease analysis and its Charger deals page (updated November 6, 2026). The effective cost adds the due-at-signing money back into the payment, which is the only fair way to compare quotes with different down payments and terms.

2026 Charger (two-door)MSRP usedMonthlyTermDue at signingEffective cost
R/T (Pkg 21L)from $51,990$57942 months$4,229$680
Scat Pack$55,690$57336 months$5,769$733
Daytona Scat Pack (EV)$60,690$1,31236 months$6,269$1,486

The math is simple once you see it. Take the Scat Pack: 36 payments of $573 come to $20,628, plus $5,769 at signing makes $26,397, and that divided by 36 is $733. Run the same sum on the Daytona and you get $53,501 over the same three years.

That’s a 103% gap on cars whose sticker prices sit 9% apart, by CarsDirect’s figures. Taxes and fees are extra on all three.

Why is the Charger Daytona lease so expensive?

A lease charges you for the value the car loses while you have it, plus a finance charge. CarsDirect obtained a September 2026 dealer bulletin showing the Daytona carries a 40% residual after 36 months and a money factor equal to about 12.5% interest. The gas Charger carries a 67% residual and a rate near 5.4%.

Put those residuals against the MSRPs and the gap stops looking strange. Dodge expects the $60,690 Daytona to be worth $24,276 at lease end, so you pay for $36,414 of lost value. The $55,690 Scat Pack should be worth $37,312, leaving $18,378. Spread over 36 months, that’s roughly $1,011 a month of depreciation against $511, before a cent of interest.

There’s no lease cash to soften it either. CarsDirect says Dodge hasn’t advertised a Daytona lease price since the 2026 model went on sale, and the cheaper Daytona R/T, which once leased for an effective $688, was dropped for 2026.

One trap worth knowing: CarsDirect found Dodge’s online payment tool defaults Daytona quotes to a 48-month term with 5,000 miles a year. That makes the monthly number look smaller. If you drive 12,000 miles a year, the overage charge at turn-in will claw that back.

Charger Sixpack lease: R/T or Scat Pack?

Both Sixpack cars use Dodge’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six with standard all-wheel drive and a button that sends all torque to the rear. Stellantis’ March 9, 2026 release rates the R/T at 420 hp and 468 lb-ft with a 4.6-second 0–60 mph time. Dodge’s Charger site lists the Scat Pack at 550 hp, 531 lb-ft and 3.9 seconds. The Daytona Scat Pack makes 670 hp and runs 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds. If you’re cross-shopping an older V8 car, our 6.4 HEMI guide covers Dodge’s bigger HEMI V8.

Divide each effective payment by horsepower and the ranking flips from what the monthly figure suggests:

ModelEffective monthlyHorsepowerCost per hp per month
Charger Scat Pack$733550$1.33
Charger R/T$680420$1.62
Charger Daytona Scat Pack$1,486670$2.22

The Scat Pack is the value pick. It costs $53 a month more than the R/T in effective terms and brings 130 more horsepower plus standard Brembo six-piston front calipers and Launch Control, per Stellantis. On the R/T, that hardware comes only with the optional Performance Handling Group.

Watch the term, too. The R/T deal runs 42 months, so its total outlay is $28,547 against $26,397 for the 36-month Scat Pack. A lower payment stretched over six extra months isn’t a cheaper lease.

Is the four-door worth $2,000 more?

Stellantis prices every four-door Charger $2,000 above the matching two-door. At a 67% residual, only about $660 of that is depreciation you pay during a 36-month lease, roughly $18 a month before finance charges. If you carry passengers, that’s the cheapest upgrade on the order sheet, and the hidden hatch gives you 37.4 cubic feet of cargo with the rear seats folded.

Should you buy a Charger instead of leasing?

Right now the cash offers favor buyers of 2026 cars. CarsDirect lists up to $2,000 in employee pricing plus retail bonus cash on the 2026 Scat Pack and $500 bonus cash on the 2027 Charger, with both expiring November 30, 2026. Its loan estimate for a 2026 Scat Pack two-door is $840 a month over 72 months at 7.0% APR with 10% down.

The 2027 Scat Pack two-door lists at $57,840 on CarsDirect, $850 more than the 2026 car’s $56,990. That makes a leftover 2026 the better buy if your dealer still has one.

If you want the electric Charger, buying used is the move. Jalopnik reported on October 29, 2026 that clean, low-mile 2025 Daytona R/Ts were selling for under $35,000. That 40% residual Dodge uses is the market telling you how fast these cars lose value. For the wider gas-versus-electric cost picture, see our ICE vs hybrid vs EV explainer.

What to check before you sign

A few limits apply to every number here. The lease offers come from CarsDirect’s deals page for the Spring Hill, Florida area, so your region may differ. Promotional rates usually need top-tier credit. And the published MSRPs don’t line up perfectly: Stellantis lists the Scat Pack two-door at $54,995 before destination, CarsDirect shows $56,990 with destination, and Dodge’s estimator used $55,690 for the quote above.

Ask the dealer for the residual percentage, the money factor and the capitalized cost in writing. Multiply the money factor by 2,400 to get the rough interest rate. If a Daytona quote shows a money factor near 0.0052, you’re looking at the 12.5% rate CarsDirect found. And run the VIN for open recalls; our Dodge Durango tail light recall report shows what a Dodge campaign notice covers.

Dodge Charger lease FAQ

Is it better to lease or buy a Dodge Charger?

For the gas Sixpack Charger, both work: a 67% residual keeps leases near $680 to $733 effective, and the 2026 Scat Pack also has up to $2,000 in cash offers through November 30, 2026. For the Daytona EV, buy used instead. A 40% residual and roughly 12.5% lease rate push its effective lease cost to about $1,486 a month.

How much is a Dodge Charger lease per month?

CarsDirect lists the 2026 Charger R/T two-door at $579 a month for 42 months with $4,229 due, about $680 effective. The two-door Scat Pack quote is $573 for 36 months with $5,769 due, or $733 effective. The Daytona Scat Pack EV quote is $1,312 a month with $6,269 due, about $1,486 effective, before taxes and fees.

Why is the Charger Daytona lease so expensive?

Dodge projects the Daytona will keep only 40% of its value after 36 months, against 67% for the gas Charger, so you pay for far more depreciation. Its money factor equals about 12.5% interest versus 5.4%. CarsDirect also found no lease cash on the Daytona, and the cheaper Daytona R/T was dropped for 2026.

The Charger lease to sign this month

Pick the two-door Scat Pack. At $1.33 a month per horsepower it beats the R/T on value and costs half what the Daytona does. If you sign a Dodge Charger lease before November 30, 2026, the Daytona’s extra 120 hp is the most expensive horsepower Dodge sells: about $753 a month more for the same three years.
