2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap: Price, Trims and What It Adds

Jeep charges as little as $495 for the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap, and as much as $3,185. That spread tells you how to buy it. The Whitecap is a paint-and-decal package, and it’s the best deal on the Rubicon X, where you pay the least for the same white roof and grille that costs more than five times as much on a Sahara.

Quick answer: The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap adds a Bright White painted hardtop, a Bright White seven-slot grille and 1941 side decals to the Sahara and Rubicon. Jeep prices the package at $495 on the Rubicon X, $2,690 on the Sahara and $3,185 on the Rubicon. It doesn’t change the engines or the 4×4 hardware.

What is the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap?

Jeep revealed the Whitecap on December 12, 2025, as the second of 12 special editions in its yearlong Twelve 4 Twelve series, which marks the brand’s 85 years. It followed the Wrangler Moab 392, which opened the series in November. It borrows the CJ-Universal’s Arctic White top.

According to the Jeep brand’s December 12, 2025 release, the package includes:

  • A Bright White painted hardtop roof
  • A Bright White seven-slot grille with body-color fender flares (standard on Sahara, part of the package on Rubicon)
  • A Bright White 1941 side stripe decal on both trims, plus a Bright White hood decal on the Rubicon
  • An optional Sky One-Touch power top with a Bright White accent

Bob Broderdorf, CEO of the Jeep brand, called it “a striking two-tone look” in that release. Strip away the marketing and you get paint and decals. Engines stay the same: the 2.0L turbo four or the 3.6L V6.

How much does the Whitecap package cost on each trim?

Jeep lists only the package price, so we added it to each four-door trim. Base prices come from Kelley Blue Book’s 2026 Wrangler 4-Door page (May 2026) and include the $1,995 destination charge.

Trim (4-door)Base MSRP incl. destinationWhitecap packageWhitecap total
Sahara$50,905$2,690$53,595
Rubicon$52,530$3,185$55,715
Rubicon X$63,225$495$63,720

Read the fine print before you compare those package prices. Jeep says the $2,690 Sahara figure includes the optional body-color hardtop, and the $3,185 Rubicon figure includes that hardtop plus body-color fender flares. Part of that money buys an option many buyers add anyway. Our read, not Jeep’s wording: the Rubicon X needs fewer of those extras, so its price is lower.

The paint mistake to avoid

Jeep’s Canadian release says the Whitecap comes in the full Wrangler color palette. That includes white. Order a white Wrangler with a white roof and you’ve paid for two-tone paint that reads as one tone. It works on dark colors.

Whitecap vs Ford Bronco Heritage Edition and Badlands

The closest rival is the Ford Bronco Heritage Edition, which also sells a retro white-roof look. Ford’s 2026 Bronco page lists it at $52,125 before Ford’s $1,995 destination charge, so about $54,120 delivered. That’s $525 more than a Whitecap Sahara. The Heritage Edition does give you more hardware for the money: Ford’s HOSS 2.0 suspension, plaid cloth seats and an available Sasquatch package.

The Bronco Badlands costs $48,890 plus destination and skips the retro styling. If the white roof is why you’re shopping, the Whitecap Sahara is the cheaper route. If suspension matters more than paint, the Heritage Edition’s extra $525 buys real parts.

Should you pay full price for a 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap?

Probably not. Kelley Blue Book’s Fair Purchase Price for a 2026 Wrangler 4-Door ran $1,985 to $3,825 below MSRP in May 2026, depending on trim. A plain Sahara showed a $48,300 fair price against its $50,905 sticker. A paint package is no reason to skip that discount.

If you’re paying close to MSRP on anything, compare what we found on dealer markups and what to pay in 2026. Limited runs sell out fast, as the Ram Rumble Bee showed. If you need a bed instead of a back seat, our 2027 Jeep Gladiator price breakdown covers Jeep’s pickup.

What we don’t know yet

Jeep hasn’t published a build total or an order cutoff for the Whitecap, and the release only says orders are open. Dealer stock may be all that’s left by now. The KBB prices we used date from May 2026 and can move, so check a current window sticker before you sign.

Jeep Whitecap FAQ

How much is the Jeep Whitecap package?

Jeep prices the 2026 Wrangler Whitecap package at $495 on the Rubicon X, $2,690 on the Sahara and $3,185 on the Rubicon. The Sahara and Rubicon prices include an optional body-color hardtop, and the Rubicon price also includes body-color fender flares. Add the package to a four-door Sahara and the sticker lands near $53,595 with destination.

Which Jeep Wrangler trims can get the Whitecap?

The Whitecap is offered only on the Sahara and Rubicon families, including the Rubicon X, according to Jeep’s December 12, 2025 announcement. You can pick either the 2.0L turbo four-cylinder or the 3.6L V6 that each trim already offers. Sport, Sport S and Willys buyers can’t order the package.

Is the Jeep Wrangler Whitecap a limited edition?

Yes. It’s the second of 12 special editions in Jeep’s Twelve 4 Twelve series marking 85 years of the brand. Jeep hasn’t said how many it will build or when orders close, so treat dealer inventory as the main supply. Check the window sticker to confirm the package is factory-installed.

The cheapest way into a 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap is the one most shoppers skip. On a Rubicon X, the white roof, grille and decals add $495 to a $63,225 SUV, which is less than one percent of the price.
